Hey everyone! Today we’re going to talk about what I received in my May Ipsy bag. Not sure if Ipsy is for you? Read my post from my Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing! post where I tell you all about it!
This month’s bag is a cute little envelope shape snap front bag. It’s coral, which is such a wonderful Spring color, and it has white buildings and landmarks on it. It’s really cute and it’s a decent size for a makeup bag.
In my glam bag this month, I received Crazy Rumors HibisKiss Natural Lip Color in Coral. This is a nice lip balm, that provides great moisture. It’s slightly shimmery, so it makes it more interesting than a typical balm.
I also received Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow Trio. This is a great little eye shadow kit! The colors are really light and on the warm shade sides. Each of the colors in this trio are shimmery. There is a lighter shade, which is great for the upper lid near the brow line. There is a more red shade that is great for the crease of the lid. There is a darker more purple shade that is great for the outer crease if you wanted to create a slight smoky eye with this trio, you definitely could do that.
Next we have Glamour Dolls Blending Brush #10 Sperm Whale Edition. This brush – I can’t. I absolutely LOVE this brush. First of all, the handle is so super cute it is bright blue and covered in little white sperm whales (hence the name). The bristles are super soft. This brand is cruelty free, so the bristles are synthetic. I have been using this brush as a blending brush for my shadows since I received it earlier this month. I definitely think this little guy is earning a place in my daily routine!
I also received Etat Libre d’Orange Remarkable People Fragrance. I’ve taken the Ipsy quiz and reviewed similar fragrance products before and have said that I just don’t want these, but they still slip one in every once in a while. I don’t have an issue with perfumes, but I feel like scents are just something that I want to pick for myself. So, I don’t enjoy this fragrance and I haven’t used it. It is very strong and way too overpowering for my liking. Someone else may love it, but it just isn’t for me! This is just one thing about Ipsy that I will continue to recommend – if you don’t like something, make sure you review the products and/or retake the quiz so they can get it right for you!
Finally, I have saved the best for last, Smashbox X-Rated Mascara. I’d consider myself a mascara addict. I cannot and will not leave my house without applying mascara (even if I have no other makeup on, you can bet I’m wearing mascara). I am in love with this brand and I really love this formula. This is a great mascara for anyone who is looking for length and subtle volume. I like the way this makes my lashes look and I would definitely consider purchasing the full-size version of this product in the future.

Glitter Girl
is a true yellow gold color. Hanky Panky is a matte taupe shade that is a great transition color or for a natural “no makeup” look. Blaze is a darker brown shimmer with yellow glitter that shines beautifully. So Quiche is a grey-brown color that has gorgeous purple shimmer within it.
, which is hands-down my absolute favorite ColorPop shade. It is a brown bronze color with shimmers of red and yellow gold, which are beautiful in different lighting. 
is a darker bronze brown color with yellow, green, and red glitter. 
is a darker brown color, great for a smoky eye look and has red and green glitter as well. Lace is a deep purple with beautiful purple-toned glitter. Envy is a dark black with gorgeous purple glitter.
. I love this toothpaste because I feel like it truly works. The Pro-Health line from Crest has been a go-to of mine for quite a while because these products provide so many benefits and cover so much ground in mouth-cleaning that it’s hard for me to not keep buying them. I’ve also been using the mouthwash that I guess goes with it – the 
(the name is a mouthful!). These mouthwashes are great because they don’t burn after 3 seconds like other brands I’ve used do (like Listerine), yet I still feel like it’s working and killing all of the disgusting mouth germs!
& Cleanser. This is a new product from Garnier Fructis. It’s so amazingly simple to use (which as I mentioned, I’m all about!). All you have to do is shake it up, and pour it a little bit on a cotton pad and swipe it all over your face – you’d be amazed at the amount of makeup your makeup remover pads leave behind! I use the one that removes even waterproof mascara.
– it’s a bit pricey, but you don’t use it every day and it makes your hair super healthy and shiny. The best part is it’s all natural and it also contains essential oils, which makes it even more incredible. I am also loving OGX 
shampoo. This is another great organic shampoo that adds lots of volume and great vitamins to your hair. For conditioner I’m using another OGX product, 
conditioner. This conditioner smells amazing and I just love how soft it makes my hair.
Style Prep. I dry my hair with my hair dryer and then spray this product in before I use my flat iron to straighten it. I feel like not only does it add a layer of protection from the heat, but it also definitely helps with keeping my curls straight and sleek all day long.
Foundation. This is a medium to full-coverage foundation and it’s totally buildable. Of course, if you’ve read any of my recent posts, you already know that I’m totally obsessing over ColourPop products at the moment, so my current eye products consist of their SuperShock Eye Shadows – 
in Noir. I love this eye liner because it’s waterproof, so it doesn’t wear off your waterline like other liners do, and it goes on super smooth. For Mascara, again, if you read my Top 5 Mascara post (link to post 
. I wouldn’t necessarily call this a February favorite as much as an all-time favorite, but still I just love it so much I added it in here anyhow. For my bronzer I am loving Pur Minerals 
. This is a pressed powder bronzer and it is super pigmented and has just the right amount of shimmer. My highlighter, I just received in my last ColourPop haul (link to post 
. This product is great. I put it on at night and go to sleep and when I wake up in the morning, my lips feel renewed and refreshed.
Hand Cream. It smells like baby powder and lightly like vanilla – I guess like Cashmere? But the way it makes your hands feel is incredible! I don’t know about you, but in the winter my hands get super dry and no one wants old lady hands, so get some cream on those bad boys! I recommend using this one :).
: This shadow is another metallic color. It is a really pretty black that has glitter in it. The glitter shines gold and green. I typically use this shadow on the outer corner of my lids. This color would also be beautiful as a base for a smoky eye look.

: I ordered this primer Lippie Stix because I was really hoping to use this under my Ultra Matte Lip liquid lipsticks. Since using chap stick or Vaseline doesn’t allow those formulas to dry matte, I don’t like to use them with my liquid lipsticks. This primer works perfectly with the Ultra Matte Lip liquid lipsticks and also under the Lippie Stix! The packaging is the same as the Lippie Stix and the product is white in the tube. When applying, it doesn’t really feel like you’re getting any product on your lips (if you press your lips together, it feels like nothing happened). But, if you look up close, you can see there is a layer of the product on your lips. This product works great to fill in any of the lines or wrinkles on your lips to get a more perfect look when applying your lip product on top. It also helps in the wearability of the lip product.
